My client has and exciting opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor. They have a rapidly expanding profile with successes securing both prominent national frameworks with the Home Office, Post Office, Royal Mail, Ministry of Justice, SCAPE, Southwest Consultancy, Consultancy One – along with many other blue chip clients
The range of services that we would like you to deliver includes:
- Design and Contract Administration,
- Project Management of refurbishment schemes,
- Technical Due Diligence/ Acquisition services
- Party Wall/ neighbourly matters,
- Condition Surveys and strategic life cycle appraisals.
Working with a diverse range of clients – retail, education, commercial, leisure and health, for example – you will have the opportunity to take on a broad spectrum of responsibilities including project management; design and specification; part wall, expert advice in relation to building and legal compliance, e.g.:, disabled adaptations; advising re: future maintenance strategies and life cycle cost.
You will be degree qualified, and be Chartered – ideally MRICS, but MCIOB will be considered. You will have at least 4 years PQE, ideally managing your own projects and clients.
You should be a self-starter, able to operate equally as a member of a small team or on your own initiative and be able to maintain and develop long-term client relationships.
You will be actively involved in the growth and development of our team in Nottingham, not only managing existing clients, but identifying new business opportunities, recruiting and managing staff and adding to the services my client can deliver.
